2025 - We did it: Kalmarunionen just won ASIS CTF - our 4th ASIS WIN!
It came down to the wire. Other amazing teams like Maple Bacon, Shellphish, and especially BunkyoWesterns and r3kapig pushed us right to the last minute. That pressure is exactly why we are playing the hardest CTFs in the world.
This is our fourth ASIS CTF win, and it’s a reminder that the top is never guaranteed. The field keeps getting sharper, and staying there takes full focus, deep teamwork, and a lot of grit.
It’s been a minute since our last update. Even over summer break we stayed busy - we played the DEF CON CTF Finals in Las Vegas, with teammates on-site and a Danish venue. Huge thanks to Anders Rømer and The Tech Collective for hosting us 🙏
What makes this season special: our seasoned members are still all-in, and our younger talent is levelling up every single event. That blend of experience and growth is exactly what we hoped for when we started Kalmarunionen - upskilling ourselves while building a pipeline for others.
